Possible FAQs



Job seekers

There are two possibilities to find job offers: either you can make use of the START SEARCH button on the top right of the webpage or you use the ADVANCED SEARCH function, whose button is located as well at the top right of the webpage.

By clicking the START SEARCH button, all advertised job offers in the portal will be displayed immediately. You can narrow your search by choosing your preferred region and industry. This can be done by selecting the concerning details in the fields right above the START SEARCH button.

If you are looking for a specific job with certain conditions, you can narrow your search even better. In this case you can click on the ADVANCED SEARCH button. A new page will open: here you can choose again the country and region of your preference. Further, you can specify the kind of work you are looking for by clicking on the respective icons. After clicking on the SEARCH JOBS button below on the page, all job offers, which suit best your preferences, will be displayed.

For further information about a job offer, you click on the orange icon with a white arrow, located on the right of the job title.

In the South Baltic Professionals Portal you can find jobs which are offered in eight important regions of the South Baltic Region. These regions are: Guldborgsund (Denmark), Klaipeda (Lithuania), Kaliningrad (Russia), Kalmar (Sweden), Rostock (Germany), Tricity (Poland), Vorpommern (Germany) and West Pomerania (Poland).

Once you have found a job offer of your interest, you click for further details on the orange icon with a white arrow on the right of the job title. A new page opens with a detailed job description. Below you click on the Apply now button. A new page will open again. Here you fill in all the necessary information and upload all your relevant documents. Afterwards you can send the application.

The employer received your application incl. your contact details per e-mail. He can now contact you per e-mail. Since employers receive many applications, it sometimes takes time until you receive an answer. For this reason, we advise to apply simultaneously for several job offers and not to wait until an employer will contact you. This will increase your success rate.

To keep a good overview, we designed the SB Professionals Portal exclusively for the publication of job offers. Hence, you cannot advertise your personal application.

Yes, on the SB Professionals Portal are published exclusively current job offers. If job offers are not extended by the employers, they will be deleted after four weeks of their publication’s date. If a position is filled and we are informed about this update, we delete the job offer immediately.

Yes, on the SB Professionals Portal are published exclusively serious job offers. Companies who want to publish job offers need to contact first the SB Professionals Portal Administration. Only after companies and their entries are checked, job offers are going online. Should it prove in retrospect that a job offer is not serious, we will delete it immediately.

Employers

If you want to publish a job offer on the SB Professionals Portal, you need to register first. To do this you need a valid user account, which you receive by contacting the SB Professional Portal administration. Write an e-mail to sb-professionals@lupcom.de

Once your details are checked, you will receive the necessary login data for your personal valid user account. You can then login via the URL http://admin.sb-professionals.eu

You will be forwarded to the main page of your user account: here you can create a new company profile by clicking on the item add in the menu list on the top and afterwards by clicking on the Create new button (just on the right of the field Company). Having clicked on this button, you will be directed to a form in which you can fill in the required data of the company. You have to make sure that all mandatory fields (*) have been field out correctly. To finish the entry and save the data, please press the save button at the bottom of the page.

Once these steps have been completed, your company has been officially registered on the SB Professionals Portal. This enables you to publish job offers on the SB Professionals Portal.

If you want to subsequently change information of your company, please follow the following steps: login via the URL http://admin.sb-professionals.eu

You will be forwarded to the main page of your user account. Make sure that you have clicked on the item add in the menu list on the top. Choose then your company from the scroll-down menu. Click afterwards on the Edit button (just on the right of the field Company). You will be directed to the same subpage where you have already filled in the company’s data. You can now undergo the necessary amendments. Do not forget to save the changes by clicking on the save button at the bottom of the page.

A company profile can be deleted only by the SB Professionals Portal administration, in order to prevent unintended data loss. If you want to delete your company profile, please contact the SB Professional Portal administration. Write an e-mail to sb-professionals@lupcom.de

To publish a job offer, you need to login into your user account. Enter your login data via the URL http://admin.sb-professionals.eu

You will be forwarded to the main page of your valid user account. Make sure that you have clicked on the item add in the menu list on the top. Now fill in all mandatory fields (*) in the scroll-down menu below the menu list. In order to choose the right element from the scroll-down menu; you need to follow the predefined order on the website. Only if following the predefined order, you will be allowed to choose the right content from the second and third scroll-down menu. If there are any elements missing in the scroll-down menu, you can click on the Edit or Create new buttons on the right and change available elements or create new ones.

If everything is filled in correctly and there are no further changes or additions necessary, click on the save button at the end of the page.

To modify a job offer, you need to login into your valid user account. Enter your login data via the URL http://admin.sb-professionals.eu

You will be forwarded to the main page of your valid user account. Afterwards you need to click on the item show in the menu list on the top. You will be directed to a subpage on which all job advertisements are listed. Having chosen the company for which you would like to change a job advertisement you will first get an overview on all the currently available positions within the company (that are advertised via the portal) in a tabular form.

You have to click on the Edit button just on the right of the job advertisement you would like to modify. The same scroll-down menu will open where you have filled in the information to create the job offer. Here you can implement the necessary changes. Make sure to save the amendments by clicking on the save button at the end of the page.

To delete a job offer, you need to login into your valid user account. Enter your login data via the URL http://admin.sb-professionals.eu

You will be forwarded to the main page of your valid user account. Afterwards you need to click on the item show in the menu list on the top. You will be directed to a subpage on which all job advertisements are listed. Having chosen the company for which you would like to delete a job advertisement you will first get an overview on all the currently available positions within the company (that are advertised via the portal) in a tabular form.

You have to click on the delete button just on the right of the job advertisement you would like to cancel.
A confirm question will appear. Click Yes to definitely cancel the job offer.

Yes, the use of the SB Professionals Portal is completely free of charge. No costs will be incurred by advertising job offers.

Right after you will have created a job advertisement and correctly saved it, it will be published on the SB Professionals Portal.
